Abstract

Taking the Parasitology Inspection course for Medical Laboratory Science majors as the entry point, this study constructs an "AI+Gamified Teaching" empowerment system by integrating the Xuexitong platform and virtual simulation experiment resources. It focuses on exploring the transformation path of teachers towards the "Three-in-One Role" of "knowledge integrators, practice guides, and innovation nurturers", aiming to address practical issues such as the single teaching mode, scarce practical resources, disconnection between teaching and job requirements, and difficulties in teachers' digital transformation. The research adopts a combination of methods including questionnaire survey, action research, quasi-experimental method, and case study. Results show that the parasite morphology recognition accuracy of students in the experimental class (89.2%) was significantly 16.7% higher than that in the control class (72.5%) (p<0.05), and their scores in grassroots-oriented inspection scheme design (82.3±5.6) were significantly higher than those of the control class (68.5±6.2)(p<0.01). For the 4 core teachers, the efficiency of resource integration increased by 40%, the number of designed practical tasks tripled, and they guided students to complete 3 grassroots-adaptable innovation projects (compared to 0 in the control class). The research indicates that this teaching system can effectively promote teachers' role transformation and enhance students' professional competence, providing a "low-cost and replicable" practical path for the digital transformation of medical laboratory education.
