Observation on the Clinical Efficacy of External Washing with Xiaofeng Zhiyang Decoction Combined with Medication in the Treatment of Anal Itching

Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint Xiaofeng Zhiyang decoction combined with external washing and medication in patients with anal itching. Method: Sixty patients diagnosed with anal itching were selected and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 30 patients in each group. The postoperative control group was treated with potassium perman - ganate external washing combined with Qu Mi Xin ointment, while the treatment group was treated with Xiao Feng Zhi Yang Tang com - bined with Qu Mi Xin ointment. Compare the clinical efficacy, itching severity score, skin disease quality of life score, and recurrence rate between two groups. The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.7%, significantly higher than the control group's 73.3%, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The degree of itching and quality of life in both groups improved after treatment compared to before treatment. The itching score and skin disease quality of life score in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05); The recurrence rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of Xiaofeng Zhiyang Tang and Qumixin ointment can significantly alleviate the symptoms of anal itching patients, improve their quality of life, and re - duce the recurrence rate.
